Relaxation

Tonight it's time to relax. We got back last night from our senior high mission trip and had a great time. It went by too quickly, as mission trips always do, but we really did have a fantastic trip.

The last day had a few ups and down -- it was our fun day. We went to the beach and one of my youth fell off of another youth's shoulders and hit his head (a bunch of kids were playing football in the ocean) and we had a concussion scare and almost took him to the ER. But we didn't end up going and I saw him this morning and he still seemed fine.

Then we went to dinner and two youth went to the van to change out of their swim trunks... and locked the keys in the van while they were there. I totally knew they had done it before they even told me - I saw them playing Rock, Paper, Scissors by the van and just had a feeling... AAA saved the day (thank goodness).

A man (we don't know who) paid for our dinner that night, too. Apparently a man went up to the cash register and said, "I want to pay for the church group's meal and the tip." We were wearing our matching shirts that day, so I guess that's how he knew. But still, SO cool.

I'm exhausted and ready to sleep well tonight. I still had to be at church before 9 this morning, so tomorrow I'm definitely sleeping in! I'm ready to put in a movie and fall asleep right now, too, even though it's only 7:00. :)

Does anybody read this thing or do I blog to myself? Just wondering. ;)
