Long time, no blog. My apologies about that. I decided I could definitely do it today because I am having a "do nothing" weekend. I'm not kidding, I have NOTHING planned. I looked at my calendar last night and realized that I have at least one thing on the calendar every weekend now through... I thought it was Christmas, but I have now realized it's more like the end of January. Aaah! So I'm enjoying every minute of doing nothing this weekend. :)
Not much is new here. For those of you who asked about how Special K ended up, not so much. I made it to the end of Day 5 (??) and then I broke out of the routine. I've thought about trying it again, so we'll see.
For youth group on Sunday night, we're going to the Haunted Corn Maze and we'll have a bonfire there, too. It should be fun. We're meeting up with another church youth group to do it, so there should be quite a large group! I've done corn mazes before, but never haunted. I'll probably be scared out of my mind. :)
Also - several of you gave me a suggestion for what to be for Halloween. THANKS, they were all great suggestions! I think I am going to go with one I found online because it's easy. A bag of jelly beans. I need to find a clear plastic trash bag in which I will cut leg and arm holes... then step in it, fill it with colored balloons, tie a ribbon (loosely) at the top around my neck, and tape a sign on that says jelly beans. Easy! That's for Trunk or Treat that we're having on Wednesday night at church. Which reminds me, I need to go get some stuff to decorate my trunk.......
